Mehendi Ceremony: Mehendi ceremony is a very emotional as well as very entertaining celebration at Punjabi homes. The bride is applied henna on her hand with a lot of music playing in the background. Chura Ceremony: In the morning of the wedding, the brides maternal uncle will offer the Chura often red metal bangles and the bride is supposed to close her eyes until the time she is not wore the bangles . It is an auspicious ceremony.
Anand Karaj: After the groom reached the brides homes the ceremony of Anand Karaj takes place during which both the
Punjabi grooms and Punjabi brides will take four pheras around the Guru Granth Sahib in the Gurudwara. After which the vidaai ceremony takes place.
