Navya is studying MD Psychiatry at SDM Medical College Dharwad, in Karnataka. She is now posted at NIMHANS Bangalore She was born in Delhi and brought up outside Kerala. We are upper middle class family from Kannur. Father is an HR professional, and mother is an India government officer. Navya has been brought up in Delhi, Bangalore, Cairo (Egypt) etc. As we were posted at different places. She did her International Baccalaureate (IB) from Cairo American School and MBBS from India. She cleared Step 1 of US medical examination and worked as an intern in a hospital in US for one year while her parents were posted in US, before moving to India for her MD as she realized that she wanted to serve as a doctor in India rather than US. Currently she is in second year of MD psychiatry, at NIMHANS Bangalore. She can work anywhere after completing her MD depending on the requirement. She also Worked as a general physician at a private hospital in Bangalore before joining for her MD.. We prefer a well educated match originally from North Malabar but brought up outside kerala.
