Mudha Tikka is the chief wedding ritual following finalization of the match where the Aggarwal groom carires gifts for the bride. Next, the siblings of the groom place the gifts in a jholi on the bride's lap-this is called godh bharai. Sangeet is the musical get together during the Aggarwal pre-wedding rituals where the bride sits on the silver chowkri and marriage songs are sung. 10 days prior to the wedding, a Naandi pooja is performed. Bhaat is a ritual where the maternal uncle invites the bride's house for a meal and she is given gifts. Tel Baan is the ritual bath taken by the groom and bride. This is followed by the Mehendi or Henna ceremony. Other Agarwala rituals on the day of the wedding are the Korath, Baraat, Baraat Swagat, Seer Guthi, Kanyadaan, Varamala and Chuda.
